Features

The Sports Coach System can now incorporate GPS Golf simulator. The wide range of features includes:

 

Main Menu

The Main Menu has been designed so that the navigation is very quick and easy to use. The Main Menu allows you to Play a new game; Resume a previous game; Longest Drive competitions; Nearest to Pin competitions; Virtual Range practise driving; Virtual Putt practise putting, Golf Swing Analysis for teaching, Course Library for reviewing courses and Exit to Windows.

 

Play Screen

Screen allows golfers to simply start a game.
Course - select from the list of available courses.
Competition - select from the list of games available.
Holes - select either 18 holes, front 9, back 9 or individual holes.
Players - allows you to select the players from the database.
Conditions - select from Bright, Normal, Cloudy or Rain.
Weather - select from fine or gusty, to allow more wind.
Exit to Main Screen, Defaults to Defaults Screen and Play to start game.

 

Course Library

Course Library allows golfers to view all the details of each course, so they can choose which course to play. It entices golfers to visit the centre regularly, as well as inform the centre what additional courses can be purchased and details of the future courses under development.

 

Players Screen

Allows previous players' details to be quickly entered into new games. As the players data has been previously saved this includes name, tee box, handicap, preferred hand, boost and the preferred clubs in their bag. This data can be edited by the golfer, if required.

 

Virtual Contests


Virtual Contests have never been easier to run, simply preview the course holes and choose the desired hole.
The Leader Board appears automatically after every shot, showing all shot details and even client's logo.
Hitting longest drives on the fairway, or hitting the green during Nearest the Pin and reverse replay occur.
Client's own Logo appears on the Contest Screen, to enhance a Sponsor's presence

 

Shot Performance

After playing each shot the post shot performance data screen can appear. Displaying the extremely accurate data measurements in 10ths of miles per hour and 10ths of a degree for club speed, ball speed, swing path, club face angle, horizontal angle, vertical angle, distance, carry, back spin, side spin, to cup, elevation and the lie position. This screen is very useful with the club animation giving an easy to understand explanation for the last shots actual performance.

 

Resume Game

This allows golfers to resume a game of golf that previously they had to leave. A number is given for the Saved Game, so it is very easy to select the saved game the next time the golfers play, resuming their game where it was previously left.

 

Time Limit

Time Limit allows the golf centre to select and control how long games of golf take. The time left to play is shown, throughout the game, in the bottom left hand corner. When the time limit is completed, the game will stop and can then be saved.

 

Advertising

Each Golf Course has it’s own Loading Screen created, showing a signature hole on the course. This is displayed before hole commencement, it is easy to modify this image, to display Advertisements. Premium Course’s will also have the previous tournament winners displayed, which golfer’s appreciate. Guaranteeing Advertisers maximum exposure, on each simulator and allowing Golf Centres to maximise, revenue.

 

GPS Putting

Using the High Speed Camera Technology, putting is the world's most accurate, giving extremely accurate and realistic representation of the putt. Measuring ball direction within a degree and ball speed to 1/100th of a mile an hour. Allowing putts to be measured accurately over the contoured 3 dimensional green, for each particular putt played.

 

GPS Defaults Screen

Defaults screen has various settings that can be altered by the centre and golfers alike. Most golfers will not go to this screen as they will accept the standard settings and start their golf. The settings that can be altered are Green Stimp Speed, Green Hardness, Time Limit, Mulligans, Auto Continue, Flybys, Putting, Contour View, Units of Measurement, Rough Reduction, Auto Hole Out, Putting Alignment, Sounds and Gimmies.

 

GPS More Defaults



More Defaults has various settings that can be altered by the centre and golfers alike. Most golfers will not go to this screen as they will accept the standard settings and start their golf. The settings that can be altered are Ball Trail, Shot Camera, Ball Camera, Auto Scorecard, Perspective, Flight Model, Distance Calibration, Putting Distance, Graphics Quality, Contest Logo, Course Signage, Measurement Setup and Languages. This program is so advanced that it can be translated into any language. Current languages include English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, Finnish, Polish, Swedish, Danish, Turkish, Romanian, Norwegian, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, Korean and Japanese. If you require your own Language to be translated, please let us know.

 

GPS Virtual Range

GPS Virtual Range allows you to continually practise from any part of the course, during the game. Giving you details of the last shot/putt and average details for distance, to pin and shot/putt angle of the shot/putt. This is the perfect tool for any golfer, as their performance for each club in the bag, can be accurately determined. Ensuring that the golfer knows how far they hit, with each of their own golf clubs.

GPS Virtual Results displays the actual golfer's performance, ensuring that each shot's data can be displayed. So the golfer is able to easily determine their exact performance with their own golf clubs.

Options allows you to select show flag, helicopter fly-by, scorecard, re-hit, practise, replay shot, next player, hole out, next hole, last shot results, grid, close and quit the game.

 

Scorecard

Scorecard during the game or at the end of the game the scorecard for the course, can be viewed or printed out. Showing all golfers performance in the game mode that was selected. The scorecard also displays the course's own logo and hole names.
